Deduction V2 — Status 2026-07-20

Summary

The hold/settlement engine remains code-corroborated at 13 completed backend days, but the initiative is no longer “BE done, QA only.” BIF-8644 gained a replacement reporting slice on 2026-07-20: BIF-8959, BIF-8883–BIF-8887, and BIF-8958 are all To Do, with BIF-8946 providing backend support during testing. Yoddi can start BIF-8771/BIF-8772 against the completed engine.

Scope and ownership change

  • Reporting now reads wa_reconciliation_batches through hub_core; see decision 0002.
  • Hafriz owns the backend slices. Saprol owns BIF-8886, the client usage page; Jira still assigns it to Hafriz and must be reconciled separately.
  • The former 10.5-day moderator-only breakdown is superseded. Replacement effort and the expanded denominator are TBD; no new progress percentage is asserted.

Next

  • Implement and estimate M0–M5.
  • Start QA for the existing engine while the reporting slices proceed in parallel.
  • Recompute initiative progress only after the new denominator is supplied and completed work is corroborated by Jira plus merged-code evidence.
