Progress​

Denominator re-baselined 16 → 29 md. The usage/download reporting workstream (task-breakdown Part 2) is now fully in scope, including its frontend, which had not previously been staffed or counted. This supersedes the 2026-07-17 figure (13 / 16 = 81%), which reflected a point where the modpanel/FE work was considered descoped. Backend engine (Part 1, T1–T7) remains 13 / 13 md done; nothing regressed — the drop from 81% to 45% is purely the larger, now-honest denominator.

  • Part 1 (hub_core engine, T1–T7): 13 / 13 BE md, merged (BIF-8740…8746). Unchanged.
  • Part 2 (usage/download APIs + UI, M0–M5): 0 / 13 md, not started — BE 8 · FE 2.5 · QA 2.5. Redesigned 2026-07-20 (ADR-0002): reporting reads the pre-aggregated wa_reconciliation_batches rollup (M0), not the 200M-row wa_conversation_logs; V2-detection uses the canonical wa_hold_settlement flag (M1a/M1b).

Frontend scope added (this entry)​

FE was previously recorded as effort_frontend_days: 0 ("descoped"). It is now scoped and staffed, split across two surfaces:

  • Modpanel FE (M5 slice, moderator-be ERB/Stimulus, DED-S08, 0.5 FE md) → Hafriz — the download-dialog change that offers V2 companies daily-aggregate only.
  • Chat FE (M4, client hub Nuxt app, DED-S07, 2 FE md) → Syafrizal M. — the client-facing "WhatsApp conversation usage" page consuming the new hub_core GET API (M2). ⚠️ The hub repo is not checked out in this workspace, so M4's file paths are PRD-sourced and unverified — re-ground before Syafrizal starts.

Total FE 2.5 md. Effort now: BE 21 · FE 2.5 · QA 5.5 = 29 md.

  • Part 1 PRs (unchanged): hub_core #8049/#8050/#8051/#8087/#8088/#8092 (T1–T6), hub-worker sha 8584f122 (T7).
  • Part 2 tracked as BIF-8959 (M0), BIF-8883 (M1a), BIF-8958 (M1b), BIF-8884 (M2), BIF-8885 (M3), BIF-8886 (M4), BIF-8887 (M5) — all To Do, Sprint "Bifrost 26Q3 Sprint 2" (21464), Epic BIF-8644.
  • Effort owner: rfcs/deduction-v2.task-breakdown.md (grand total 29 md).

Lowlights & blockers​

  • 🟡 QA (5.5 md) not yet started / no independent evidence — Lane B human gate; Part 1's 3 md plus Part 2's 2.5 md both pending. Gate before pilot.
  • 🟠 M0 edits shipped money-path code (SettleDaily, BIF-8744) to add settled_charged_amount; small/additive but needs its own QA before M2/M3 build on it.
  • 🟡 M4 (chat FE) unverified — hub repo not in this workspace; re-ground on first contact.
  • Governance gate (RFC in-review → approved; PRD refresh for the authorize-at-send reversal of Non-Goal #4, and now the dropped v2_effective_date / DED-S05-S06 delayed-activation) is still open, PM-owned, not blocking engineering.
