Aegis alert + automatic fallback on AI Service no-response

Context​

Follow-up to 2026-07-23-ai-service-async-deployment-downtime.md — mitigation for AI Service not responding.

Notes​

  • Chatbot will add an alert to Aegis monitoring.
  • When there is no response after 5 minutes, the configured fallback on that AI Agent's config is triggered automatically.
  • The event will also be recorded on the Impact report, so the BI team needs to be informed.

Decisions / changes​

  • Add Aegis alert with a 5-minute no-response threshold, wired to automatic fallback per AI Agent config — owner: Chatbot, 2026-07-27.

Follow-ups​

  • Inform the BI team that this event is recorded in the Impact report — TBD.
  • Reflect the auto-fallback event in the Impact report PRD/spec if not already covered — TBD.
